Every so often I am punished by the universe for my lack of attention to detail when multitasking. Last night it was with the realization that I’d managed to make two left side fronts for the vest I’m making for my sister.
The front and back of the fabric are totally identical, so I didn’t notice when I’d ironed interfacing (that I’d apparently cut backwards) to the incorrect side of the one piece until I went to assemble the shell and saw that something was terribly wrong.
‘Hey, remember how I told you I’d probably be done with your vest today? Well…’
